Movable Type Version 3.2 Beta 1

Movable Type Version 3.2 Beta 1 is now available. I downloaded and installed the updated version on my test blog this evening. I was pleasantly surprised how easy the new upgrade is to install.

If you are contemplating upgrading as well, do not upgrade your main blog. You should upgrade only a test or trial blog.

I just played with the MT 3.2 Beta a bit this evening. So far, I think it is easier and more intuitive to use the prior version of 3.17, which I am using now. I did find a couple of very minor bugs, which I have reported. The more people who try this beta version, the more bugs that are discovered and fixed before the official release. So if you are an MT user and able to test this beta version, I urge you to do so.

I believe the official release should be out in a couple of weeks. When it does come out, I will be updating this blog shortly thereafter.
